摘要: ABSTRACT In this book chapter, joint radio resource management (JRRM) issues in cognitive networks are discussed presenting the TV White Spaces (TVWS) spectrum exploitation use case. TVWS portions of UHF spectrum, which will be released and interleaved according to geographical region due gradual switch-off analogue adoption digital TV. With availability their temporary lease, traditional network planning RRM design rationale points need enhanced. This chapter initially provides a state-of-the-art work for existing architectures, while reference architecture commons secondary trading is proposed. Subsequently, JRRM concepts heterogeneous Radio Access Technologies’ extension over aiming continuously guarantee QoS, key performance indicators at same time targeting overall highest system capacity, presented. Finally, thorough classification admission control scheduling techniques provided, outlining including more context-aware features algorithms being applicable advanced networking (HetNet) environments.
