Dependence of photocurrent generation on the crystalline phase of titanyl phthalocyanine film in heterojunction photovoltaic cells

摘要: We report that the photocurrent generation of a titanyl phthalocyanine (TiOPc) layer in heterojunction photovoltaic cells is strongly dependent on crystalline phase TiOPc layer. Vacuum-deposited films with an amorphous were changed into mixed two or three phases, Phase I and II Y, by solvent vapor treatment various solvents, which confirmed from ultraviolet–visible absorption spectra X-ray diffraction patterns solvent-vapor-treated films. From incident photon to current conversion efficiency (IPCE) measurement, it clearly demonstrated only but not nor Y can contribute photoelectric cells. This result may come low charge (exciton dissociation) structures, was supported change IPCE curves under inverse bias application.
