摘要: In order to discover what effect the quantum nature of radiation has on detection signals at optical frequencies, detectability coherent and, in threshold limit, incoherent is calculated basis an idealized quantum-mechanical model a receiver. The detectabilities reduce low frequencies those found by ordinary signal-detection theory; high they depend Planck's constant. For frequency detector equivalent system that focuses photoelectric surface unit efficiency and optimally processes emitted electrons.
