摘要: Research is defined as a quest for knowledge through diligent investigation aimed at the discovery and interpretation of new using scientific method. In clinical setting, epidemiological methods are used to make prediction about exposure and/or health outcome an individual based on studies groups similar patients. Inadequacies in research methodologies constitute challenge generating publishing sound, evidence. Flaws methodology major reasons this indeed, rejection manuscripts submitted journals general. Use not rigorous enough answer proposed question lack adequate details publication commonly observed features. These, only compromise quality evidence generated disseminated, but also contribute substantially delays manuscripts. This article describes basic concepts highlights common pitfalls errors be avoided.
