摘要: PD is a progressive and complex neurological disorder with heterogeneous symptomatology. characterized by classical motor features of parkinsonism nonmotor symptoms involves extensive regions the nervous system, various neurotransmitters, protein aggregates. Extensive evidence supports auditory dysfunction as an additional feature PD. Studies indicate broad range impairments in PD, from peripheral hearing system to brainstem cortical areas. For instance, research demonstrates higher occurrence loss early-onset abnormal evoked potentials, event-related habituation novel stimuli. Electrophysiological data, such P3a, also suggested sensitive measure illness duration severity. Improvement responses following dopaminergic therapies indicates presence similar neurotransmitters (i.e., glutamate dopamine) basal ganglia. Nonetheless, have received little attention clinical practice so far. This review summarizes central provides conclusions directions for future empirical research. © 2020 International Parkinson Movement Disorder Society.
