摘要: Choosing a capable satellite sensor from mass of homogeneous sensors to meet the requirements observation tasks in various application scenarios is one basic challenges faced by collaborative an Earth Observation Sensor Web environment. This paper analyzed five main factors affecting capability optical imaging sensors. study proposed concept dynamic index (DOCI), which denotes continuously changing performance diverse applications. A higher DOCI demonstrates stronger capability. The model consists subcapabilities: spatial-temporal covering capabilities (Coverage), thematic (Theme), environmental (Radiation), attribute (SpaceTime), and quality (Accuracy). We discussed assessment methods on basis model. To verify method, seven (AVHRR/3, BGIS-2000, Hyperion, MERSI-1, MODIS, OLI, SeaWiFS) were used four different task scenarios: normalized difference vegetation measurement, snow cover monitoring, oil spill detection, vegetation-type mapping. results showed that changes can be effectively assessed modeled using index, thus aiding scientific pre-evaluation also as quantitative, comprehensive, all-purpose prior method web-based planning.
