摘要: In Refs. [1,2], an effective implicit time integration scheme was proposed for the finite element solution of nonlinear problems in structural dynamics. Various important attributes were demonstrated. particular, it shown that remains stable, without use adjustable parameters, when commonly used trapezoidal rule results unstable solutions. this paper we focus on additional scheme, and specifically showing procedure can also be linear analyses. We give, comparison to other methods, spectral radius, period elongation, amplitude decay study a simple 'model problem' with very flexible stiff response.
