Denervation increases a neurite-promoting activity in extracts of skeletal muscle.

摘要: During early stages of embryonic development, the motoneurones spinal cord send out axons that penetrate differentiating muscle masses and establish connections with individual fibres. It has been proposed during this period survival, differentiation axon outgrowth depend upon retrograde factors produced by muscles, in a previous study, we used quantitative assay for neurite from dissociated neurones vitro to characterize neurite-promoting activity media conditioned cells. At adult neuromuscular junction, if some supplying are experimentally interrupted, fine nerve processes 'sprout' remaining intramuscular nerves grow innervate denervated In situation also, it postulated fibres release diffusible sprouting stimulus. Using same as before, now report striking increase extracts neonatal chick leg after total denervation.
