摘要: A stereotaxic atlas of the pig brain has been established. It consists 60 frontal and 18 sagittal drawings illustrating Nissl stained sections. apparatus adapted for Pig was used to determine coordinates. Radiographic techniques were applied verify correct position central nervous structures in apparatus. The zero horizontal plane contains line joining recessus preopticus posterior commissure (PC) images. These two landmarks identified by ventriculography. anterior limit PC is as on atlas. Vertical electrode trajectories implanted at a fixed depth different lateral levels lateral, vertical height coordinates planes. Then brains perfused embedded avoid major displacement cerebral structures. Frontal serial sections 100 microns performed animals. Magnified diagrams representing cellular architecture produced, some which are illustrated with photomicrographs. For certain areas, limits nuclei difficult even when complementary electrophysiological studies carried out. Each plate accompanied list abbreviations label plate, together terms they represent. This work should provide useful anatomical guide research brain.
