摘要: BackgroundUp to 2007 there was no formal external quality assurance programme for plasma free metanephrines. A pilot conceived by the AACB (Australian Association of Clinical Biochemists) Working Party on biogenic amines. With support from and Royal College Pathologists Australasia Quality Assurance programmes, a study developed. Data this are presented first time.MethodsTwelve lyophilized samples were distributed 15 centres. Samples spiked with metanephrine (metadrenaline), normetanephrine (normetadrenaline) 3-methoxytyramine, all derived human urine. Concentrations arranged in linear relationship. The analytes present at six levels duplicated.ResultsHigh-pressure liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry methods showed acceptable precision but general enzyme immunoassay displayed higher degree imprecision as well negative bias.ConclusionsDifferences calibration matr...
