摘要: The principles of ecology have been developed from the study animals and plants. contribution microorganisms to ecological theory has extremely limited. Their role in ecosystems is usually considered be only as mineralizers organic matter intermediates some cycles nutrients, despite fact that different guilds bacterioplankton carry out a large variety functions aquatic environments (Jones, 1987; Pedros-Alio, 1989). Experimentally, they used test models predation competition. If universally valid, however, its should applicable microorganisms. Further, by limiting objects plants, most history life on Earth (and thus history) ignored. It seems one main purposes microbial ecology, therefore, whether general are microorganisms, trying integrate current paradigms. There seem two alternatives for this purpose. In first one, easily measurable macroscopic parameter communities can measured significant number systems so generalizations derived (Peters, 1986). second given system model ecosystem, components studied degree detail impossible with approach (Brock, 1978; Ward et al., 1987). We took alternative when initiating Lake Cis6 16 years ago.
