摘要: Coronary artery disease remains the leading cause of death in Western world. Non-invasive coronary imaging challenges any diagnostic modality because arteries are small and tortuous, whereas cardiac contraction respiration motion artifacts. Therefore, non-invasive requires high spatial temporal resolution. This review discusses feasible applications magnetic resonance multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT), which currently only modalities for direct atherosclerosis imaging. Particular attention focus is devoted to potential indications clinical impact MSCT due its fast development robust results recently reported. a promising assessment lumen wall.
