摘要: Proteomics is a promising approach in the identification of proteins and biochemical pathways involved tumorigenesis. In an effort to discover such that are deregulated prostate tumorigenesis, cellular proteomes matched normal epithelial cells high-grade cancer were analyzed by tissue microdissection, two-dimensional electrophoresis, mass spectrometry. Forty protein alterations detected tumors; however, majority these changes not shared among 12 neoplasms. contrast, parallel cDNA microarray analysis identified number common gene expression changes. The marked heterogeneity observed may have significance with regard tumor biology research strategies for molecular profiling analyses human cancer.
