摘要: Abstract Late Pliocene–Pleistocene fossil diatom assemblages from Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Leg 145 Hole 884B in the western subarctic Pacific were investigated to improve biostratigraphy. Moreover, paleoceanographic records at compared with those Integrated (IODP) Expedition 323 Holes U1341B and U1343E Bering Sea for time interval of 2.5–0 Ma order clarify differences assemblage fluctuations history past ocean circulations around Pacific. In 884B, five zones Neodenticula koizumii–Neodenticula kamtschatica Zone seminae identified. The decreases relative abundance temperate-water species recognized ca. 1.9 Ma U1343E, 2.1 Ma U1341B. these sites indicate that a widespread cooling event must have occurred over ~2 Ma. addition, continuous low occurrences sea-ice related 2 Ma onward, which presence sea-ice, observed Sites 884 U1341. We also point out age decrease three (i.e., delay response Site U1343) may be changes seawater inflow North U1341 U1343 East Kamchatka Current 884.
