摘要: Introduction: Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells (TREM) receptors and TREM-like transcript (TLT; or TREML) of the immunoglobulin superfamily are known as key modulators host immune responses. TREM-1 (CD354) TREM-2 share transmembrane adaptor DNAX-activation protein 12 kDa (DAP12), but they possess separate stimulatory inhibitory functional roles, especially in cells.Areas covered: This review covers findings related to TREMs TLTs published patent applications from their discovery 2000 present. New roles for TREM-1, TREM-2, TLT-1 TLT-2 maladies ranging acute chronic inflammatory disorders cardiovascular diseases cancers discussed.
