摘要: Background: Joint position sense (JPS) is comprised of sensory input from several sources, including skin, joint capsule/ligaments, and muscular receptors. If the muscle receptors play a leading role in detecting awareness, then fatigue might yield declination JPS. The aim this study was to evaluate if sustained fatiguing contraction tibialis anterior (ankle dorsiflexor) could alter ankle Methods: This cross-sectional which 40 healthy subjects (age, 23.9±2.3 years; height, 172.6±5.7 cm; weight, 67.8±4.7 kg) were recruited. Subjects asked recognize 2 pre-recognized positions (10° dorsiflexion (DF) 21° plantarflexion (PF)) for experimental conditions: normal fatigued. Muscular induced dominant leg by using an isometric test. average absolute angular error (AAE) deviations target three trials recorded as scores both non-fatigue conditions. Results: There significant decrease subjects’ abilities active passive repositioning their after protocol (P=0.0001). Conclusion: acuity JPS reduced subsequent protocol.
