摘要: Abstract Triphenylsulfonium salts addition in the emitting layer of polymer light diodes (PLEDs) has been shown to be beneficial for charge injection and transport due both ionic effects π -conjugation phenyl rings cation. In some cases emission profile can also modified through an electroplex formation. Herein we investigate effect four TPS-salts with different counter anions on overall PLED performance upon blending each salt conjugated poly[2-(6-cyano-6-methyl-heptyloxy)-1,4-phenylene] (CN-PPP). particular, three perfluoroalkanesulfonate organic increasing size (triflate, nonaflate, PFOS) a perfluorinated inorganic anion (SbF 6 ) are compared. It is that affects primarily turn-on operational voltage, whereas its chemical nature crucial achieving high luminance values. The counteranion exerts direct impact dispersion properties matrix, thus, film morphology, which turn influences colour efficiency proposed formed at sulfonium salt/polymer interfaces bulk. This study highlights importance properly selecting counterions added PLEDs, which, their various functionalities, significantly influence device performance.
