摘要: The diffusion of mobile devices, that are capable to play videos, opened new challenges for video streaming applications. Since wireless communications prone erasures, an important goal is research possible ways reliably provide content. Fountain codes efficient way protect against erasures: in particular, burst erasures the ones can significantly reduce quality transmitted video. In this work, Luby erasure channels investigated. Our main focus on design make receiver able recover all lost information without any retransmission. Furthermore, we analytically demonstrate lower energy consumption achievable by using LT instead a general retransmission scheme.
