摘要: After briefly reviewing the relationship of psychosocial rehabilitation to psychiatric practice, authors recommend a renewed commitment psychiatrists bridge and integrate treatment with in practice organization services. They use case example an urban, community mental health center illustrate strategy for achieving greater integration these two, relatively independent fields professional practice. The Center's includes (1) center-wide planning, (2) structuring medical staff office support task integration, (3) establishing model principles care that supports both domains intervention, (4) educating about rehabilitation, (5) inter-disciplinary team building, including definition discussion roles, (6) expanding services research on (7) advocating alliance colleagues expanded their treatment. By taking initiative forward better serve seriously ill patients more effectively define own work roles.
