摘要: In the present study, synthesis of poly(1,1-dimethylsilacyclobutane) (PDMSB) by anionic ring opening polymerization (ROP) is reinvestigated, leading to narrowly distributed molar masses (polydispersities 1.04–1.15) in range 2.3 60 kg mol−1. Investigations thermal behavior for low mass PDMSB revealed an untypical multiple peaks melting phenomenon, which at first glance, seems be same origin as poly(ethylene oxide)s. Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and diffraction (XRD) measurements are done, proving fast crystallization subsequent recrystallization investigated samples. Synthetic attempts expanded surface-initiated ROP 1,1-dimethylsilacyclobutane (DMSB) monomer from surface cross-linked polystyrene (PS) nanoparticles. Novel polycarbosilanes (PCS)/organic core/shell particles obtained, using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) dynamic light (DLS) experiments. First insights into surface-attached chains reveal that hindered.
