摘要: The cell division cycle and circadian rhythms have one obvious property in common: both comprise an event or series of events which is repeated at regular intervals. course the similar nearly all eukaryotic cells. Cells birth enter G1 phase, leads up to S phase during nuclear DNA other chromosomal components are replicated. followed by G2 period, end chromosomes separated segregated into daughter nuclei mitosis. Cell normally follows shortly after mitosis, two cells embark on their cycles. temporal organisation broadly across a range types. In contrast, many diverse biological processes show periodic pattern behaviour covered umbrella term “circadian rhythm”. Processes behave this way include cellular such as photosynthetic activity, sporulation some fungi, even division; whole organism types higher animals plants; pupal eclosion Drosophila, rhythm population, though each individual only undergoes process occasion.
