摘要: Abstract To plan a management strategy for the urban mammal community, it is necessary to understand mechanisms by which many mammalian species are eliminated from ecosystem. We analyzed ecological traits of assemblages mid-sized and large mammals in Tokyo Metropolitan Area determine key inhabiting landscapes. Using cluster analysis, we roughly classified camera-trapped 10 quadrats, each nearly 5 km × 5 km, into assemblage types. In terms its composition, more urbanized landscapes were subset forested landscapes, except domestic cats, much common explain occurrence quadrat, applied generalized linear model with four (i.e., body weight, annual reproductive capacity, food habit, tree-climbing ability) an environmental force area) used as covariates. found that high capacity omnivorous habit most critical enabling live Species low absent intermediate levels urbanization. Herbivorous species, however, occurred but not These can thus be predict composition assemblage, they also devise appropriate strategies managing environments.
