摘要: We investigated how plant functional traits influence fine-scale patterns of tundra carbon cycling, and cycling responds to climate warming. built a hierarchical model that included abiotic conditions (summer air winter soil temperatures, resources), community composition diversity (plant size leaf economics), (above-ground organic stocks, photosynthetic respiratory fluxes). also simulated warming effects on the peak-season CO2 budget. Plant was strongest predictor for most variables. Communities larger plants were associated with fluxes above-ground stocks. fast economics had higher rates photosynthesis respiration, but lower Leaf economic increased fluxes, while stock. Simulations suggested warmer summer temperatures increase accelerate economics, size. Both changes would enhance uptake during peak season. show act as mediators between cycling. Our study firmly links trait communities ecosystem functions in tundra.
