摘要: Metal-catalysed C-H functionalization has emerged as a powerful platform for the derivatization of quinones, class compounds with wide-ranging applications. This review organises and discusses evolution this chemistry from early Fujiwara-Moritani reactions, through to modern directing-group assisted processes, including reactions directed by quinone ring itself. Mechanistic details these are provided afford insight into how unique reactivity quinoidal been leveraged in each example.
