摘要: We present a unified description of cooling and manipulation mesoscopic bath nuclear spins via coupling to single quantum system electronic spin (quantum bit). show that cooled by the bit rapidly saturates. Although resulting saturated states ("dark states") generally have low degrees polarization purity, their symmetry properties make them valuable resource for coherent bits. Specifically, we demonstrate dark ensembles can be used coherently control system-bath interaction provide robust, long-lived memory qubit states.
