摘要: The properties of the regression standard length on exopodit uropod Euphausia superba as a method to estimate distribution from penguin stomach contents samples are explored. distance between estimated and observed distributions was measured with Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistic. Sample variability determined using resampling techniques. ability linear functions (Models I II), allometric non-parametric methods recover evaluated within exchanging parameters samples. Linear models proved inadequate distribution, while differences obtained fall bounds sample variability, suggesting that equation does not capture relation total length. use is recommended increase size when estimating prey lengths in Antarctic penguins.
