摘要: A horseshoe perianal skin melanoma was treated by cutaneous advancement flap (Y-V shaped) and the outcome investigated over a long-term follow-up. Objects of investigation were history taking, preoperative work-up, adopted surgical procedure, histological immune-histochemical findings concerning additional lesions found during The follow-up lasted 140 months. In this patient, previous breast cancer diagnosed treated. Local diffusion soft tissue, nodes, anal sphincter infiltration or distant metastasis not shown preoperatively. wide excision with an Y-V carried out. Histological showed level II Clark Breslow 0.65 mm. No local recurrences Sixty months later, two pigmented (0.3 0.2 mm) detected removed. Histologically, hyperpigmentation basal layer epidermis immunostaining Melan-A CD 117 confirmed absence any significant melanocytic proliferation. Ninety after first new small cell carcinoma right lung leading patient to death report raise issues related plastic reconstructive modality but also oncological outcome. We able recognize possible compromised immune deficiency considerable life span. However, occurrence did affect unfavorable outcome, which caused other cancers. Level Evidence: V, prognostic study
