摘要: MicroRNAs have well-established roles in eukaryotic host responses to viruses and extracellular bacterial pathogens. In contrast, microRNA invasive bacteria remained unknown. Here, we report cell type-dependent regulations upon infection of mammalian cells with the enteroinvasive pathogen, Salmonella Typhimurium. Murine macrophages strongly upregulate NF-κB associated microRNAs; strikingly, these which are induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) occur persist regardless successful invasion and/or replication, or whether an inflammatory response is mounted, suggesting that microRNAs belong first line anti-bacterial defence. However, a suppression global immune regulator miR-155 endotoxin-tolerant revealed also depend on status infected cells. This study identifies let-7 family as common denominator Salmonella-regulated epithelial cells, suggests repression relieves cytokine IL-6 IL-10 mRNAs from negative post-transcriptional control. Our results establish paradigm microRNA-mediated feed-forward activation factors when targeted
