ece@2000.aotearoa.nz: Mapping the Landscape of the “Century of the Child”

摘要: The “Century of the Child” was so named in 1900 by Swedish writer Ellen Key. In its concluding year, this chapter sketches some maps childhood “Aotearoa New Zealand” terms of: changes how our society has viewed “children before five”; emergence institutions outside family to care and educate “before fives”; different constructions five” child for Maori Pakeha; present context early services sited amidst new economic political discourses that are transforming role state.
