摘要: Stem cells (SCs) with varying potentiality have the capacity to repair injured tissues. While promising animal data been obtained, allogeneic SCs and their progeny are subject immune-mediated rejection. Here, we review potential of hematopoietic stem (HSCs) promote immune tolerance xenogeneic organs tissues, reverse autoimmunity, be used optimally cure hematologic malignancies. We also mechanisms by which cell transplantation (HCT) can anti-tumor responses establish donor-specific tolerance. discuss barriers clinical translation studies describe some recent indicating how they overcome. The achievements durable mixed chimerism across human leukocyte antigen without graft-versus-host disease organ allograft through combined kidney bone marrow suggest that this approach for use in treatment many diseases may ultimately realized.
