摘要: A power thread comprising a tubing or casing connection having collar threadably connected to tubular member at each end is disclosed, utilizing shallow tapered with relatively low crest height. The device has number of closely mated threads adjacent the inserted and diminishing but still load bearing engagement remaining threads. In one example five buttress according invention, root dimension profile about 0.040" taper per inch. flank side on coupling 3° angle stab 10° angle, relative plane perpendicular central axis. surface have 1.75° from approximate midregion flank. High temperature resistant elastomeric seal rings are disposed in grooves within threaded indentations therein for reception solid particular lubricants.
