摘要: The life-cycle of a precocious and attenuated line (WisF96) Eimeria tenella , derived from the Wisconsin (Wis) strain, contained only first three generations schizogony undergone by parent strain. reproductive capacity WisF96 was less than that strain factor about 2000, but inoculation chickens on two occasions with large number its oocysts induced resistance against challenge oocysts, or second-generation merozoites Wis. immunizing abilities were compared priming groups numbers Wis, designed to produce infections equal magnitude in terms oocyst production (standard inocula), then challenging results suggested an equivalent parasite mass more immunogenic This confirmed finding that, even when dose Wis increased 10-fold, standard inoculum still produced greater protective effect. These indicate generation E. is highly immunogenic.
