摘要: This paper reports the results of an experimental study pressure pulsations produced by a centrifugal volute pump at its blade passing frequency and their amplification acoustic resonance in connected piping system. Detailed measurements were made fluctuations as function speed flow rate. A semi-empirical model was used to separate standing waves from hydraulic fluctuations. The effects modifying cut-water geometry also studied, including use visualization observe behavior cut-water. suggest that may act or velocity source, depending on At conditions resonance, acted open termination piping, i.e., node waves. Rounding had effect reducing amplitude apparently because ability stagnation point move thereby reduce vorticity generated. notable example this Primary Heat Transport (PHT) system Ontario Hydro`s Darlington nuclear power station.
