Factors related to regular use of complementary/alternative medicine in Turkey.

摘要: Summary Objectives The purpose of this study is to determine the frequency regular complementary/alternative medicine (CAM) use and investigate relations between some psychosocial health related factors any CAM method. Method Nine hundred eighty-eight adults whose ages ranged from 18 80 were surveyed in Izmir, Turkey. Participants grouped as “regular users” ( n  = 404), “irregular  = 445) “non-users”  = 139). Results Praying was most frequently used method (76%) among users. logistic regression analysis revealed that variables significantly with perceived effectiveness past, attitudes towards CAM, having information about methods, awareness educational status. Conclusions who positively effects they had practised, have positive higher awareness, more methods primary school degree likely be a user CAM.
