摘要: Abstract Marine algae are valuable sources of structurally diverse bioactive compounds, among them, the group sulfated polysaccharides (SPs). As an example SPs, it could be cited fucoidans in brown algae, carrageenans red and ulvans green algae. Since past decades, SPs have been extracted from evaluated respect to their beneficial biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, antimicrobial, anticoagulant, antithrombotic, immunological anticancer. This review deals with presentation natively structural features addition already employed approaches structure modifications, chemical physical methods. Moreover, this article presents advantages importance using enzymatic methods during modification, particularly, use microorganisms enzymes sources. Enzymes hydrolases/glycosidases (e.g. fucoidanase, fucosidase, agarase carrageenase), lyases, sulfotransferases sulfatases used for purpose. It has shown that more studies necessary obtain/identify opportunities create novel, or intensify, properties. Considering microbial biotransformation processes, related modification by should stimulated.
