摘要: Carbenes, R1R2C:, and carbynes, RC⋮, are molecules which have short lives in the free state. However, they may form stable complexes with transition metals. Carbenes 2e ligands while carbynes 3e ligands. In carbenes, carbon atom assumes sp2 hybridization; it has sp hybridization.
