摘要: Tachistoscopic recognition thresholds were obtained for nouns with high or low values on one dimension of meaning while two others controlled. Frequency, imagery concreteness (I), and meaningfulness (m), varied in different lists experiment, frequency m a second, alone third. Ratings familiarity also to supplement as measure familiarity. The results showed that ease visual was most strongly related Imagery unrelated when Meaningfulness small but consistent positive relation even the other variables held constant. Except puzzling effect m, are view perceptual is primarily dependent upon target stimulus not associative processes evoked by it.
