摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a parcel-based, data-mapping scheme that allow for implementation data integrity methods and variable size logical blocks while layout physical storage device remains unchanged. For one embodiment, provides method in which virtual parcel including number extended-size is created, or more parcels, each standard-size blocks, created. The combined parcels equals exceeds parcel. are mapped to parcels.
