摘要: Abstract This paper focuses on the propagation of sound waves in presence acoustic barriers placed close to very tall buildings. The boundary element method (BEM) is used model barrier, while buildings taken into account by using image source method. Different geometries are analyzed, representing cases a single building, two forming corner and three defining laterally confined space. barrier assumed be non-absorbing, all ground modeled as infinite rigid plane surfaces.
