摘要: During the past century there have been vast changes in land use, which led to succession processes outlying lands. As a consequence, species-rich semi-natural grasslands are disappearing and many of their associated species become threatened with extinction. For targeted successful conservation these species, it is important identify ecological factors determining distribution abundance. The aim this study was reveal effects different management types on abundance rare low-herb while controlling for vegetation type, moisture pH. A case performed at Brekken, an upland landscape Norway. Seven were chosen; three Botrychium (B. lunaria, B. boreale, lanceolatum), gentian (Gentiana nivalis, Gentianella campestris, amarella) one orchid (Nigritella nigra). Species observations obtained by distance transect sampling. Within transects, present recorded as intervals distinct types, pH measured used characterization types. Using generalized linear models mixed models, density probability occurrence modeled response (mowing, grazing abandonment) all total, both higher grazed areas than mown abandoned areas, habitat ranges wider area. From fit per show or areas. Most studied shown be highest and/or low-grown grassland vegetation. Such products therefore some analyses assumed masked within significant In restoration conservation, type should determined specifically each site, based local use history overall aim.
