摘要: Abstract We previously described that the growth of human uterine leiomyomas was associated with a significant remodelling extracellular matrix these tumours. Significant weight-related increase collagen and heparan sulphate contents detected. The latter known as component, which bound some peptide factors, mainly FGFs, therefore it decided to evaluate amounts acidic FGF (aFGF) basic (bFGF) in myometrium various weight FGF-binding tissue components. It found contain picogram amount aFGF nanogram bFGF. No free found. Slight bFGF were detected both most existed form complex high molecular component(s). These complexes very stable they did not dissociate denaturation conditions. In comparison tumours contained several times more FGFs their distinctly increased during tumour growth. expression FGF-receptor I (FGF RI) distinct myometrium. extracts from bind exogenous 125 I-bFGF. contrast different weights at least two One them (150 kDa) corresponded FGF-receptor. other one (190–200 kDa) might be sulphate–proteoglycan. seems play an important role transformation normal into leiomyoma further this tumour. action on cells enhances biosynthesis sulphated glycosaminoglycans, especially binds vicinity facilitates interaction membrane receptors. effect processes may stimulation matrix.
