摘要: New mold fluxes with CaO–Al2O3–Li2O–CeO2 system are proposed for heat-resistant steel continuous casting. The fundamental properties investigated systematically. It is found that the appropriate content of CeO2 determined to be ≈10 wt%, melting temperature did not change much increasing content, which indicates could show steady smelting after continuously absorbing inclusions containing cerium in casting process. After adding CeO2, precipitation CaO crystallization process restrained, and crystalline phases shifted from CaO/LiAlO2 CaCeAlO4/LiAlO2. further evidenced CaCeAlO4 LiAlO2 can restrained by CeO2. shows significantly positive influence decreasing viscosity. Above breaking temperature, decrease viscosity attributed cutting off chain structure molten slag Below it caused effect on restraining optimal Li2O 14 wt%, a less than reduce viscosities obviously, but fluxing action becomes ineffective when exceeds 14 wt%. results have great theoretical significance developing steel.
