Mesial frontal lobe syndromes: correlations between neurological deficits and radiological localizations.

摘要: In order to detect the functional subsets of mesial frontal lobe, 26 patients with lesions involving lobe were investigated. The results summarized as follows; (1) Hemiparesis predominantly in lower extremity was common motor deficit cortices. Four supplementary damage sparing cortex showed long lasting hemiparesis. (2) Verbal adynamia symptom due left and superior prefrontal damage. Transient mutism found two without involvement cortex. (3) Emotional disturbance characterized by depressed motivation also common. No hemispheric laterality could be detected these patients. (4) Dementia memory related pole anterior area (5) urinary incontinence presented only right damage, permanent bilateral (6) Akinetic large including cingulate. (7) Motor neglect dressing apraxia possibly programming hemisphere.
