摘要: Vision impairment can have a significant impact on the wellbeing and quality of life an individual. rehabilitation has potential to improve these areas; however, four in five patients with vision are not being referred appropriate services. Barriers on-referral include, but limited to: (1) misunderstandings by both practitioners alike regarding which individuals might benefit or qualify for low services; (2) lack awareness available (3) unfamiliarity practice guidelines; (4) miscommunication between patients; (5) required patient travel limitations access; (6) perceived costs goods Further, current referral patterns do represent holistic patient-centric approach.
