摘要: The coronary arteries, veins and capillaries of newborn mice experimentally infected with encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus were studied histologically electronmicroscopically. Damage to these vessels was patchy. Some lesions extensive, particularly when adjacent areas myocardial damage. histological findings consisted swelling adventitial endothelial cells pyknosis, polymorphonuclear leucocyte round cell infiltration. Histological ultrastructural changes occurred in all three layers the vessels. EMC viral crystals found electronmicroscopically adventitia arteries veins. Ultrastructural typical virocytonecrosis frequently noted association crystals, establishing etiology lesions. These lend support concept that patchy atherosclerotic arteriosclerotic man may represent healed previous
