摘要: The Preparing Academically Successful Students in Maternal and Child Health (MCH PASS) training program provided financial support specialized to occupational therapy (OT) speech-language pathology (SLP) undergraduate students from underrepresented groups maternal child health. project assisted trainees matriculate into graduate programs their respective fields facilitated application long-term health programs. Sixteen (8 OT 8 SLP) participated an with emphasis on interdisciplinary teaming, family mentoring, leadership development, public population-based research. Instruction occurred community classroom settings through didactic instruction small group discussions. Fifteen of the applied were accepted fields. Two a MCH program. reported increased knowledge about that serve women children, effects poverty health, teaming daily routines families who have special care need.
