摘要: Abstract Micturition is accomplished via a coordinated contraction of the urinary bladder body mediated primarily by muscarinic receptor stimulation. Theoretically, function may be modified pharmacologically altering either density and/or magnitude response to activation. In central nervous system, autonomic can chronic administration specific agonists and antagonists. The induces decrease in whereas antagonists an increase density. Although these induced alterations occur CNS, there have been few studies on peripheral tissue. For current study, we administered L-atropine chronically rats (five mg./kg./day) using implanted osmotic pumps. Using direct radioligand binding techniques, rat brain (cortex) were determined following six hours, 12 one, two, four, seven, 11 14 days atropine administration. addition, also effect weight isolated strips bethanechol, agonist. both bladder, increased progressively reached maximum seven days.
