摘要: Abstract He(21S, 23S) Penning Ionization and HeI (584.3 A) photoionization of HCl molecules have been investigated by measuring both the energy spectra electrons mass positive ions formed. In He(23S) ionization population vibrational levels HCl+ (X) (A) is found to be similar that in as well one predicted Franck—Condon factors, indicating ionizing transition molecule vertical between essentially unperturbed potential curves. The results are compared with determined optical emission spectroscopy, which had given a strong preference for lowest level. Possible reasons observed differences discussed, particular influence final state interactions heavy particles excitation transfer Rydberg states 20 eV region.
