摘要: Solids undergoing martensitic phase transformations are currently a subject of intense interest in mechanics. In spite recent progress understanding the absolute stability elastic phases under applied loads, presence metastable configurations remains major puzzle. this overview we presented simplest possible discussion nucleation and growth phenomena framework dynamical theory rods. We argue that resolution an apparent nonuniqueness at continuum level requires “de-homogenization” main system equations detailed description processes micro scale.
