摘要: Community engagement in public health policy is easier said than done. One reason that produced a complex process resulting policies may appear not to link up citizen perspectives. We therefore address the central question as whether knowledge production could enable inclusive making. Building on non-health work fields, we describe different types of scientific research, or 'Citizen Science'. challenges Citizen Science poses for health, and how these be addressed. Despite challenges, expect similar approaches such participatory action research 'popular epidemiology' yield better knowledge, empowered communities, improved community health. provide draft framework evaluation practice, consisting descriptive typology kinds causal shows might benefit both well Scientists' active participants.
